Week of 7.9.12

Monday was a big day for Blake.  He finally got to ride in his car seat.  It was just across town but he did great.  It's such a relief to have him in the car seat now and much easier to transport him and go places.

Tuesday, was my first night out for more than an hour.  We had tickets for a show at the Overture Center.  We were not comfortable leaving him with someone other than family so Erik decided to stay home with him and I took a friend with me.  The show was Billy Elliot and it was good.  Blake was really fussy that day and unfortunately continued into the evening.  They made it through and Blake actually slept until 2:00 am that night.  All the fussiness must have worn him out.

Wednesday, we traveled to work and had lunch with Erik.  Then we stopped by work so some co-workers could see him.  Everyone loves him.  He did great at work and didn't make too much noise.

Today we decided to wear the Ohio State onesie.  This came from Erik's Uncle Frank and Aunt Diane.  They live in Ohio and are Ohio State fans.  There is a little rivalry between Erik and his Uncle when these two teams play.  We had to take some pictures to prove he wore the onesie.

    1. Yes he was in a car bed. Since he was early he had to have a car seat check before leaving hospital. He failed because his head would not stay up and affected his breathing. Our pediatrician told us when he was full term we could move Him to the car seat. So much easier and he's dong fine.
