Everything is coming along

Hello!  Well things are progressing in the Bennett household for the preparation of Baby Bennett.  This past weekend my brother, sister-in-law and Alex came up to help out with some stuff.  Lon helped Erik put the crib and a shelf together.  Candi helped make some meals and sort through the baby clothes.  It was nice having some company.

Erik's sister painted the nursery for us a few weeks ago.  It looks nice and I love the colors.  I can't wait to put things on the walls.  For now I'll have to direct Erik on what to hang up.

Overall, the bed rest prescription seems to be helping.  My blood pressure has been ok, still a little high but I guess that is part of the issue.  The baby has been doing well when he is hooked up to the fetal monitors twice a week.  He just needs a little more time to "cook".  My doctor said she won't let me go the whole 40 weeks so she mentioned something about 37 or 38 weeks as long as nothing happens.  So this baby will be here in a couple weeks.  We are slowly getting there.

It's definitely been frustrating not being able to do what I want to but thankfully we've had a lot of help.  My parents are coming up this weekend to help get the nursery organized.

We hope this finds everyone doing well.  We will keep you updated as we can.  Below are a few pictures of Erik putting a changing table together and then the nursery with the furniture in it.
