And now for my last post. I promise I'll be better about updating more often.
This week I was diagnosed with mild pre-eclampsia and was put on bed rest until the little one gets here. We did find out that he will more than likely be here in mid June rather than early July. Hopefully this condition does not get more serious and he will stay put until then. It's been a rough week adjusting to not doing much of anything and having Dr appointments twice a week. Erik is handling like a trooper, with the extra things he now needs to do because I can't. We are also thankful that his family lives just across town. My family is coming to visit over the next couple of weekends so it will be nice to have them here to help as well.
We are thankful this was caught early but not too early. I've heard of people being on bed rest for months with this diagnosis. So I am thankful for that. It just reminds me that I need to take it easy for the sake of the baby and my health. We will get through this and everything will be worth it in the end. I've actually been lucky that I have not had more issues with this pregnancy with my age and rheumatoid arthritis. Things could have been worse.
